Swedish artist Alban Uzoma Nwapa, better known by his stage name Dr Alban, is a true pioneer of the Eurodance genre. Born in Nigeria in 1957, he moved to Sweden in the 1980s to study dentistry. But his true calling was in music, and he soon started his own record label and released his debut album “Hello Afrika” in 1990. The album became a huge success, and Dr Alban quickly became a household name in Europe and beyond.

With his unique blend of reggae, hip hop, and dance music, Dr Alban was able to bridge the gap between different cultures and bring people together through his music. Hits like “It’s My Life”, “Sing Hallelujah”, and “No Coke” topped the charts all over the world and solidified his status as one of the most influential artists of the 90s.
